When a solar flair causes significant damage to a space station, an astronaut has to travel back to Earth to fight congress for funds to keep the station operational. This was the pilot for a proposed sci-fi series on CBS to be titled “Destination Space”, but it was never picked up. Very rare TVM was directed by Joseph Pevney (Star Trek) and stars John Agar.
