Stitches is a highly entertaining film where the underdog medical student takes on establishment ideologists. It has a great leading performance by Parker Stevenson who goes head-to-head with Eddie Albert. In the performance by Eddie Albert, he truly embodies his character, Dean Bradley, for a memorable role. What I like is no matter how hard Dean Bradley tries to outmaneuver Bobby Stevens (portrayed by Parker Stevenson), it is ultimately the underdog Stevens who wins the war while also losing the battle. Geoffrey Lewis shines in a supporting role, as well, bringing adequate slapstick antics to the screen. Rebecca Perle shows up as well as the hot medical student Bambi Bilenka who plays interference for Bobby Stevens to have any kind of effective relationship with Nancy McNaughton (portrayed by Robin Dearden). Great movie about resolving to do the right thing no matter the cost.
